The theme for VBS this year was The Kingdom of the Son: A Prayer Safari. The children memorized the Lord’s prayer by the end of the week! There were crafts, games, snack, live animals, and Bible stories that all tied in with our theme.
Through our missions project, we collected 262 canned goods and non-perishable food items for a local food pantry and $160 for Haiti relief. In attendance each day, we averaged around 70 children and 70 workers. Isn’t that fantastic? Best of all, we were able to give away 8 Bibles and three children came to know Christ as Savior by the week’s end.
