Ministies needing your assistance at BUMC

There are many ways to do ministry at BUMC. The next few issues of the Newsletter will carry some of the positions along with a description of what is needed to serve on that committee. Please pray about where you can serve in 2011.

Flowers

    Memorial money is given twice a year to the flower fund (Christmas and Easter).  Alice Wies heads up the flower committee.  She needs help with ordering and/ or getting flowers; placing them in the sanctuary; keeping the altar attractive.

Kitchen Crew 

    Work with Joe MacConnell in keeping the kitchen clean, cupboards stocked, keep the refrigerators clean & up to date with the milk, juice, etc. At least a couple times a year, have a cleaning day.

Children’s Education coordinator

   Sue Inouye is our Superintendent.  Co-ordinate PreK thru 6^th grade curriculum for Sunday School.

Sunday school teachers/Shepherds

   Meet Sunday mornings 9:15 to greet children; classes end  at 10:45. There are 3-4 scheduled meetings for the SS staff during the year.
