Weekly Worship
Our weekly worship service is at 10am, with nursery care available for families who desire it. Worship at Bergen UMC includes both traditional church music as well as contemporary worship music. Scripture, corporate readings, and a message from Pastor Hoyt focus our attention on worshiping the Lord and preparing us for the week ahead. We are a singing congregation accompanied by the guitar, organ or piano. We gather to praise God. All are welcome and invited to join with us in worshiping God.
Communion
Communion is offered on the first Sunday of each month. Bergen UMC practices an “open table,” meaning that all are welcome to come to Christ’s table and share in communion.
You do not need to be a member of our church, or any church to take communion. All that is required is that you wish to grow in your love and knowledge of Christ. It is the risen and present Christ that calls you to the table, not a church or a pastor.
Communion is served by intinction. You will come forward, receive the Bread and then dip it in the Cup. We have sealed cups available for those who may feel more comfortable with that option.

It’s time for Chicken BBQ again! Call the office at 494-1312 to reserve your meal! The BBQ is Drive-thru ONLY; the meals are $15 and include chicken, macaroni salad, beans, applesauce, rolls, and dessert.
