Lent is traditionally a time of introspection and renewal, of fasting, praying, and giving, where God’s children follow Jesus’ journey through the wilderness, to Jerusalem and the upper room, and then to the cross.

This is a special time of the Christian year where we are called to action, to be the pilgrim people of God, seeking God’s kingdom and shaping God’s kin-dom through worship and service.
